"The Portsmouth Crit is definitely a highlight of my season! After eight months of racing, it's awesome to come home to such a well organized event. Plus Portsmouth itself is a really fun town and it really embraces the race. The crowds rival those of even the biggest crits in America, which only helps my case since I grew up really close by."

-Teddy King, Pro Cyclist, Team Cervelo
(local from Brentwood NH)

"The Portsmouth Criterium and Lifestyle Expo transform the city into an exciting urban bike racing venue for a day filled with action and free family fun.  The event has something for everyone from the expo offerings to the children’s bike races to the thrilling professional race field.  The passion, energy and extraordinary effort of the organizers creates an event that entertains both residents and visitors against the backdrop of our beautiful colonial city."
-John Bohenko, City Manager, Portsmouth

"I must say, that this race, compared to all others within a 5-hour radius, was without a doubt THE BEST. Portsmouth truly is a progressive town. For us cyclists, it is heaven on earth."

-Jonathan Ruffus

"Best crit in New England! There isn't another race in New England that has the crowd presence like Portsmouth. Truly unique. Nice to sit down to a great dinner right after the race without driving. One of the races the whole family likes to attend."

-Patrick Ruane

"Great crowds, great weather, great supporting staff, great race! Also, a wonderful excuse to have a nice dinner in Portsmouth. The best criterium in NE. Keep it up!"

-Timothy Shea
